On a private safari the vehicle is yours and so is the plan. You choose when to leave, how long to stay with a sighting, and whether to spend the morning working one valley or cover ground across several. Nobody else is in the jeep, so nobody else's schedule shapes the drive.
That flexibility matters most to photographers. Waiting out a leopard that may or may not step into the light takes patience that a shared vehicle rarely has, and a senior naturalist who can read the animal's intent is the difference between leaving early and getting the frame.
It suits families for different reasons. Small children set their own pace, and being able to cut a drive short, stop when someone needs to, or head back for breakfast without negotiating makes the whole thing easier. The same is true for guests who would simply rather not share three hours with strangers.
Half day and full day are both available, and a full day can be split across dawn and dusk with the middle of the day free — the hours when leopards are resting anyway. Tell us what you want out of it when we call and we will build the itinerary around that.
Start when you want, stay as long as a sighting deserves, end when you're ready.
